A notable place for its coffee growing areas that extend mainly along its mountainous territory, especially in the area of Moyobamba, which offers ideal conditions for cultivation, as it has a varied climate ranging from temperate to warm with a well-defined rainy season, an altitude between 1000 and 1500 meters above sea level with rich, volcanic soils. The predominant varieties are Pache and Catimor, among others that present unique flavors, with floral and fruity notes, that little by little are placing the region as a special place in the world coffee map.
