Known for its biological diversity, its beautiful landscapes and its coffee production, thanks to its temperate and humid climate, rich and fertile soil of volcanic origin and forest cover, in addition to altitudes ranging between 1,300 and 2,000 meters above sea level. The coffee growing areas are distributed throughout the districts of Santo Tomás de Cutervo, Pimpingos and Santo Domingo de la Capilla, where varieties such as típica, caturra, bourbón, catui, pache and others are grown, with an enormous potential for the production of high quality coffee, complex and rich in flavor, which are gradually gaining recognition both regionally and nationally.
