Jewel of northern Peru, widely recognized for its coffee growing areas in the districts of Huabal, Colasay, Chontalí and Jaén. The altitudes that vary from 1,200 to more than 1,900 meters above sea level, together with its diverse geography that ranges from majestic mountains to extensive areas of high jungle, its rich and fertile soils, and a varied climate with subtropical conditions, a rainy season between December and April, and a dry season the rest of the year, create the ideal conditions for the cultivation of arabica coffee varieties such as típica, caturra, bourbon, geisha, among others. The high quality, aroma and distinctive flavor of the coffee from this zone have earned it multiple local and national awards, as well as great recognition at an international level.
